GSC Movies and Suraya Filem are pleased to announce the appearance of Thai heartthrobs Sunny Suwanmethanont (Sunny), Urassaya Sperbund (Yaya) and Nichkhun Horvejkul (Nichkhun) of Korean boyband 2PM fame, in Malaysia this coming 3 rd July for the promotion of Thai blockbuster BROTHER OF THE YEAR. The trio will be here along with the director Vithaya Thongyuyong for a 1-day promotional tour. 

Last year, high-school thriller BAD GENIUS became a worldwide hit and placed itself as the All-Time Biggest Thai Movie in Malaysia, and this year the producers return with another heartwarming romantic comedy, BROTHER OF THE YEAR. BROTHER OF THE YEAR has been making waves in its homeland, ranking No. 1 in Thailand’s Box-Office, with its box-office results surpassing that of Bad Genius. 

The highly anticipated appearance of BROTHER OF THE YEAR stars and director is set to kick off at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya, Ground Floor, Centre Court at 7pm on 3rd July, followed by a Fans Meet & Greet Screening exclusively at GSC Mid Valley cinema hall at 8.30pm. Fans will be able to get a chance to meet the director with both Sunny and Nichkhun, up-close and personal in this special screening bundle which also includes an exclusive BROTHER OF THE YEAR T-shirt with popcorn and soft drinks combo, all for only RM40. It is now available for purchase on GSC Website and GSC Mobile App. 

Due to the overwhelming response for the movie, BROTHER OF THE YEAR will kick off its sneak shows at the cinemas a week earlier than its general release on 28 June. Sneak shows are available at selected cinemas this weekend from 22 June till 24 June.

BROTHER OF THE YEAR follows the story of a pair of siblings who fought over everything. The annoying brother always make himself a burden to his younger sister who acts more like a mother. As a payback, the brother makes it his mission to break up his sister romantic relationships. When the sister tries to keep her new perfect half-Japanese boyfriend hidden, the secret can’t last for long.
