TWIN TOWERS @LIVE 2013 ATTRACTS MORE THAN 50,000 FANS OVER ITS TWO DAY MUSIC GALA


KUALA LUMPUR, 25th March 2013 – Twin Towers @Live 2013 held at the base of the iconic 
PETRONAS Twin Towers on 22 and 23 March 2013 was a roaring success attracting more than 
50,000 fans over both days to watch its stellar artiste line-up.

The two-day music gala opened on Friday, 22 March with Atilia who set the mood with 
renowned numbers like Selagi, Indah, and Sangkar. Next up was K-Town Clan who took to 
the stage to keep the energy going with catchy numbers like Backstreets Back and Trap 
Intro.
The K-Pop phenomenon received a warm welcome from its fans when U-Kiss hit the stage 
with their boy charms. Performing their signature songs like Never Land, Standing Still, and 
Someday, the band received a rapturous response from the sea of K-Pop fans, who were all 
dancing and taking photos and videos to capture the best moments throughout the band’s 
performance.

The stage was then dominated by the energetic performance of Demi Lovato. Despite an 
earlier short downpour, her fans stood ground to watch her perform her biggest hits that
include Unbroken, Here We Go Again, and La La Land. The one-hour show brought on a 
screaming frenzy among her fans who managed to catch her first ever performance in 
Malaysia. To close out the first night of performance, DJ Face took to the stage and switched 
the crowd to a party mode.
Returning with the same vigour on Saturday, 23 March, the Twin Towers @Live 2013 stage
opened with local boy Caprice, who then handed the floor to the Earth Hour celebrations.
The show continued with a spirited performance by internationally-recognised Malaysian,
Mizz Nina. Both Malaysian artistes got the crowd pumping as the opening acts for the night’s
two headliners Backstreet Boys and 2NE1.
Accompanied by his dance crew, Caprice brought some popular hip-hop flavour to the
show whilst Mizz Nina brought her pulsating energy along with chart busting numbers like
Around The World and Take Over to energize the music lovers.

2NE1 were on stage next bringing their K-Pop vibe with tracks like Lonely and I Am The Best,
that brought their fans to their feet, dancing and singing along to their performance. The girls
who are set to make their US debut this year, were charming and addressed their fans in
both Korean and Bahasa Malaysia. It was a sight to behold with the quartet performing
heart pumping dance moves to their numbers and featuring energy levels which are
exclusive to the K-Pop genre.
The stage was then home to Backstreet Boys, who performed to thousands of ecstatic fans.
Their rendition of their chart-topping hits like Larger Than Life, I Want It That Way, and
Everybody (Backstreet’s Back), truly brought the superstardom feel to Twin Towers @live. The
crowd sang and danced along to each and every number of the hits they belted. Malaysian
fans were given a special treat with the performance at the Twin Towers @Live 2013
especially with the Backstreet Boys set to embark on their 20th Anniversary celebration world
tour. Expressing their love and gratitude for their fans across Asia, the group also performed
some of their much loved dance moves that brought their fans literally to their feet.
The crowd sang and danced along to each and every number of the hits they belted. Malaysian
fans were given a special treat with the performance at the Twin Towers @Live 2013
especially with the Backstreet Boys set to embark on their 20th Anniversary celebration world
tour. Expressing their love and gratitude for their fans across Asia, the group also performed
some of their much loved dance moves that brought their fans literally to their feet.
Closing the night was DJ Tatsuro who opened the outdoor dance floor at the Twin Towers.
Blending beats and sounds from various genres; including hip hop, electro-house, dubstep
and trap, he kept the crowd going until 2.00 in the morning.

Press Conference - Twin Towers @Live 2013

Dear our beloved readers,


Sorry guys for the delay...we been busy lately....
Anyway, this is what we have during press conference on 22 Mar. 

First we had p.con with U-kiss..Right after their self introduction, the audiences sang birthday song for Soohyun (11 Mar) and Eli (13 Mar).

U-kiss wish they will have concert in Malaysia soon, since they been here 4 times. They also wish to tour around our country. 

These p.con also was held for Backstreet Boys and Demi Lovato. Guess what, just like most or some of us U-kiss also a big fan of Backstreet Boys, they even told us they use to sing BSB songs for audition. They can't wait to meet BSB in person.

After the interview done for U-kiss, BSB and Demi Lovato, photo session was held for all of them in a session. A little fan meeting happened on the stage when U-kiss met BSB. Last but not least for BSB and Demi Lovato fans here are their pictures.

It has just been confirmed that 2Yoon, a sub-unit from the hottest Korean girl group, 4minute, will be doing a Live crossover phone interview with us at Universal K-pop Crazy Party 2013.

The members of 2Yoon will be sharing with us about their album ‘Harvest Moon’ during the interview as well as other plans.

Universal K-Pop Crazy Party 2013 The Ultimate K-Pop Fan Gathering is Back!

Universal K-Pop Crazy Party 2013The Ultimate K-Pop Fan Gathering is Back!
Stand a chance to catch a K-Pop concert overseas plus many other exciting prizes!

Organized by the Universal Music Malaysia, the “Universal K-Pop Crazy Party” is back again after its first successful run in February 2012! The “Universal K-Pop Crazy Party 2013” will be bringing all the K-Pop Fans gather and crazy one whole day again! This is the second time Universal Music organizing K-Pop fan-gathering. This invite-only event will be held on the 24rd of March 2013 (Sunday) from 2pm onwards at Bentley Music Auditorium in Mutiara Damansara.  

In order to let more K-pop fans to join this gathering, the organizer has decided to postpone Universal K-pop Crazy Party which was originally set to be held on 23rd of March to the next day, 24th of March, due to the clash with another concert on the same day. Time and venue for this event are remained unchanged.

Activities of the events included K-Pop dance competition, Best Dressed Awards, quiz and Fun-games session and Lucky Draw which will give away great prizes like Fly Away K-Pop Concert package and Girls Generation’s individual standees!  On that day, for Girls Generation or SHINee’s fans, prepare your speech to your lovely idol as there may have video record your words to Girls Generation and SHINee! If you have something to tell them, here is the chance!

The headline competition will be the Universal K-pop Crazy Party Cover Dance Competition, open to groups of five to nine after purchasing one of the Universal K-pop Artist albums or caller ringtones. There will be two categories for the dance crew to participate: SHINee and Girls Generation. 3 dance crew will be chosen for each category and they will be invited to Universal K-pop Crazy Party 2013 and compete for the champion on that day. The winners will be able win cash prize!! For those who are interested in participate the dance competition, what you need to do is just video record your dance performance that is not exceed 5 minutes and upload it to YouTube! After that you just need to email the link of YouTube to umg2007@gmail.com! There will also be booths where fans can buy their favourite artist’s merchandise, a Universal Music stand selling your favourite artists’ albums and food booth from Korean local restaurants.  You can also take some camwhore photos with all the Korean artists Standee while waiting for the opening. 

Highlighting new and current K-pop stars under the Universal Music belt, which includes artists from CUBE Entertainment (Beast, 4Minute, G.Na, Troublemaker), SM Entertainment (TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls Generation, f(x)) and JYP (2AM) and many more, this event will definitely be a fun-filled day for fans of the Kpop music genre.

One Nation Emcees join the string of Malaysian artists
Kuala Lumpur, 11 March 2013 – Twin Towers @Live 2013 set to be held during the weekend of 22 and 23 March 2013 at the base of the iconic PETRONAS Twin Towers, today announced K-Pop megastars 2NE1 as the newest addition to the concert line up for Saturday, 23 March 2013. This is the quartet’s very first performance in Malaysia, since their formation in 2009. Made up of CL, Minzy, Dara and Bom, the group’s name
2NE1 is a combination of the phrases "21st century" and "new evolution". The group first surfaced in LG Electronics commercial campaign, "Lollipop" alongside another K-Pop sensation Big Bang. They subsequently released their debut single "Fire" that same year. Since then, the group has released two extended plays,
2NE1 and 2NE1 2nd Mini Album, and one studio album, To Anyone. 2NE1 are also twice Song of the Year winners at the prestigious Mnet Asian Music Awards. After bagging the award with their single "I Don’t Care" in 2009, the quartet was again recipients of the accolade in 2011 with "I Am The Best". 2NE1 are set to debut in the United States in 2013 and are currently working on their English debut album with world-renowned producer will.i.am. One Nation Emcees are set to perform on 23 March 2013 alongside Backstreet Boys and 2NE1. CHARGERS OUTFITTERS SERVE AS PRESENTER FOR F.Y.I ON STAGE IN KUALA LUMPUR


Kuala Lumpur, 1st March 2013 – Leading fashion brand Chargers Outfitters joins ‘F.Y.I On Stage’ as the Title Presenter for Korean acoustic band Lunafly’s show in Malaysia. The event, dubbed “F.Y.I On Stage with Lunafly in Kuala Lumpur” will be held at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus on 30th March 2013, making Lunafly the first Korean act to be part of this series of events which introduce and highlight talented undiscovered artists in new media.Lunafly debuted in the second half of 2012 and gained attention after climbing music charts with their self-composed track “How Nice It Would Be”. The band gained attention for their musical abilities and outstanding live performances as they often took on various street performances and music covers on YouTube, acquainting themselves with music lovers and their fans on a more personal level. This marks their first visit to Malaysia.
“We’re very excited to be the presenter of the Lunafly’s show in Malaysia. Chargers Outfitters firmly believes in the need to support young and new talents in the music industry by giving them a platform to perform. The intimate mini-concert will showcase the full potential of Lunafly’s musical capabilities as they will be performing their hit tracks together with new arrangements and acoustic version of various songs.
