The Battleship Island - Star Tour

GSC Movies and Clover Films are pleased to announce the appearance of Korean oppas Hwang Jung-min, So Ji-sub and Song Joong-ki this coming 9th August at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur for the promotions of war action blockbuster THE BATTLESHIP ISLAND. The trio will be here along with high-octane director Ryoo Seung-wan for a 2-day promotional tour. 

The highly anticipated appearance of THE BATTLESHIP ISLAND stars and director is set to kick off at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s Main Entrance at 7pm on 9th August, followed by its Gala Premiere at GSC Pavilion KL thereafter. It is undoubtedly one of the biggest star appearance gathering Korea’s biggest names of award-winning veteran and celebrated heartthrobs.

A Masterpiece with a Touch of Creativity

The Bride of Habaek 2017 is a spin-off of the bestselling comic of the same name by Yoon Mi-gyung. Different from the original comic, the TV drama is set in modern days, with some newly created characters to fit the drama setting. Adapted from a fantasy comic into a TV drama, much imaginations and creativities are needed in both screenplay and production. Directed by Kim Byun-soo (Nine: Nine Time Travels) and written by Jung Yoon Jung (Misaeng), The Bride of Habaek 2017 offers viewers with an all-in-one experience that mixes romance, fantasy, comedy and mystery.

The Chemistry of Nam Joo-hyuk & Shin Se-kyung’s “So-Baek” Couple

While a lot of attention was put to Shin Se-kyung’s new short hair look, audience are all amazed by Nam Joo-hyuk’s god-like appearance. This is also the first time for the pair to working together, hence, some new sparks and on-screen chemistry are expected. Within the characters, Habaek’s narcissistic yet hilarious personality, and So-ah’s unique persona brings much laughter. Furthermore, Moo-ra’s obsession towards Habaek and jealousy towards So-ah added excitement to the storyline. Not to be missed are the storylines of Shin Hoo-ye and troublemaker Bi-ryum.

Based on a comic story, The Bride of Habaek 2017 has quite a lot of ridiculously funny scenes and witty dialogues, especially by Habaek who is the Water God living in the Land of the Water, everything in the human realm is new to him. It will definitely take him some time to get used to his identity as a human.
