Hotlink Race Start Season 2 in Malaysia Running Man Fan Meeting A Resounding Success! Inbox x

November, Malaysia – Five of South Korea’s hottest stars were in town for Malaysia’s biggest fan meeting of the year – ‘Hotlink Race Start Season 2 in Malaysia Running Man Fan Meeting’!  All thanks to the organiser, ONE HD, fans of Running Man in Malaysia had the rare opportunity to catch all their favourite stars in just one event!

The immensely successful fan meeting saw 5 resident cast members of the popular urban action variety series, namely Kim Jong Kook, HAHA (Ha Dong Hoon), Ji Suk Jin, Lee Kwang Soo and Song Ji Hyo, thrilling a massive crowd of over 2,500 fans last evening at Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur.

The inaugural ‘Hotlink Race Start Season 2 in Malaysia Running Man Fan Meeting’ had all the elements of an interactive musical concert – complete with stage games, song performances and video montages of memorable scenes from the series.  The seasoned entertainers delivered charming performances and tickled the audience with their quirky banter and antics.  One of the highlights of the evening was when the ‘Easy Brothers’ Lee Kwang Soo and Ji Suk Jin, surprised the fans with a parody of ‘Trouble Maker’ sparking roaring laughter and cheers.

The evening was especially significant for 23 lucky Malaysian fans, who won a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join the stars on stage for fun and games.  In the spirit of Running Man challenges, the entertaining stage activities included stage games such as sharing Pepero between Lee Kwang Soo and a lucky fan which ensued immediate hilarity to the entertained audience. The entire cast also joined an image guessing game that put fans and the cast to the test by imitating the image on screen for the last person to guess correctly.

The two-hour long fan meet extravaganza closed on a high note with 2 encore performances by all the cast members.

Over 4,000 Malaysian fans gathered for the autograph session

Earlier in the day, approximately 4,000 boisterous fans greeted the stars at the autograph session, which was held at Paradigm Mall.  Mobs of excited fans from all across Malaysia arrived at as early as 6.00am to get a good vantage point of their favourite Running Man stars.  The autograph session saw the Running Man cast signing exclusive Race Start posters for winners of sponsors’ contests and VIP ticket holders of the fan meeting.

More than 700 contestants sang, danced, juggled, and performed at the Malaysia leg of the “Asia’s Got Talent” auditions today, proving that the country is huge on talent!

Doors opened at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus at 9:00am yesterday morning with the day’s acts showcasing their incredible skills in front of the show’s executive producers. Due to the overwhelming response, the dazzling display of Malaysian talent did not end until well into the evening.

Billed as the biggest talent competition in the world, “Asia’s Got Talent” welcomed individual and group acts of all ages and performances, who took to the stage with dreams of making it through to the next round.

Eye-catching acts were seen throughout the audition including an inspiring autistic piano performer; a magical Sichuan face-changing artist; a silat (Malay martial arts) performing group; yo-yo, extreme sports and freestyle football performers; traditional Chinese dancers; children dance groups; a stand-up comedian; beatboxers; hip hop dancers; jazz musicians; and street dancers.

highlight talented undiscovered artists. “F.Y.I On Stage with Eric Nam” promises a cosy, intimate show with a smaller but exclusive crowd. The event setup allows the artist to interact closely with the fans and to go 

beyond normal performances that Korean music fans are used to. 

Originally discovered via YouTube, Eric Nam first appeared on Korea MBC's singing competition, "MBC Star Audition: Birth Of A Great Star 2," after the show came across Eric’s video and offered him a live audition in South Korea. Despite his role at the time as a non-profit fellow in India, he seized the opportunity to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a singer and quickly made his way to the Seoul audition. Throughout the competition, Eric continuously exceeded expectations and impressed critics with his live performances. His impressive run finally came to an end as he placed in the Top 5 out of over one million hopefuls and signed to B2M Entertainment as a solo male singer. Eric is currently active as a co-host and emcee of Arirang TV's popular show "After School Club," a reporter for MBC's "Section TV" and a regular guest on MBC Radio's "Song of Hope at Noon with Kim Shin Young."

Malaysia, 22 August 2014 – The ticketing details for the ‘Race Start Season 2 in Malaysia’ have been confirmed by the organizer, ONE HD.

The tickets for ‘Race Start Season 2 in Malaysia’ are priced at RM729 (VIP), RM499 (CAT 1), RM429 (CAT 2), RM299 (CAT 3) and RM199 (CAT 4). Tickets are available for sale at TicketCharge (www.ticketcharge.com / 03-9222 8111) from 29 August 2014, Friday at 10am. Fans from across all ticket categories will stand a chance to get on stage to interact with the stars.

All VIP (RM729) ticket holders will receive an exclusive autograph pass to meet the stars up close and personal and get an autograph from one of the 4 Running man members participating in this year`s fan meeting. More details on the autograph session will be made available nearer to the date of event.
