F.Y.I On Stage with Hanbyul


Kuala Lumpur - M.E Malaysia is set to bring the charming and talented Korean-Australian artiste, Hanbyul this March under “F.Y.I On Stage”, a series of events which introduce and highlight talented undiscovered artists. “F.Y.I On Stage with Hanbyul” features renditions of songs from prominent Korean dramas and films, and promises a cozy intimate show for the fans. 
Formerly the lead singer of Korean group Led Apple, Hanbyul is also known as an excellent vocalist with perfect and memorable rendition of hit songs via “Music Note” section on YouTube. He was formerly active as a co-host and emcee of Arirang TV's popular show "After School Club” which gain him many international fans. After his departure from Led Apple, Hanbyul has participated in the OST for KBS’s “Sassy Go Go” and SBS’s “Remember” and gained a reputation as a soloist. His OST for “Remember,” titled “Winter Wind” rose to No. 7 on the Chinese music site QQ. He is currently preparing for a comeback and hope to show everyone a more mature image via F.Y.I On Stage.

The EXO'rDIUM KL Concert

MEGADETH LIVE IN MALAYSIA

MEGADETH BRINGS THEIR "DYSTOPIA" WORLD TOUR TO MALAYSIA!

One of the world’s topheavy metal bands credited with popularizing the genre, Megadeth, is finally coming to Malaysia!
After a much-anticipated wait, Megadeth’s debut performance in Kuala Lumpur - organised by IME Malaysia - will see the band rock Stadium Negara on Thursday, 4th May 2017 at 8pm.
Founded in 1983, Megadeth virtually gave birth to a genre when their debut release became recognized as the Greatest Thrash Metal Debut Album of All Time.
“Kuala Lumpur is somewhere I've always wanted to hit when we've been trekking through Asia,” co-founder and front man Dave Mustaine was quoted saying in an interview recently.“They're going to let us bring our brand of metal music, it's really rewarding,” he added.
The tour is in support of their latest album Dystopia, their first album in 3 years and their fifteenth album to date. Rock critics and fans around the world are hailing Dystopia as a triumphant return from one of the most important bands in the scene.
The album earned a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance of 2017. Saimdang, Korea’s highly-anticipated series set to premiere in Malaysia this January

KUALA LUMPUR, January 23, 2017 – Making a comeback after a 13-year small-screen hiatus, Lee Young-ae takes centre stage in Saimdang, Oh!K’s latest period drama. A love story set across time about the life of historical Korean figure – Shin Saimdang, the series will premiere with double episodes simultaneously with Korea on 26 January 2017 (Thursday) at 9pm, exclusively on Oh!K (Astro Ch 394). Fans will be able to catch new episodes every Wednesday and Thursday at 9pm.

Lee Young-ae first gained international recognition in 2003 for her performance in the award-winning television series, Jewel in the Palace. The series which is currently airing on Oh!K was exported to 91 countries, increasing the Korean pop-culture phenomenon abroad.

Set in both the Joseon era and present day, Saimdang weaves a story of fact and fiction, uncovering the life of this unconventional 16th century Korean woman. In an interesting twist, Lee Young-ae is set to play both roles of the female lead in past and present - as Seo Jiyun, a part-time university lecturer and Shin Saimdang herself. The story opens when Seo Jiyun discovers the diary of Shin Saimdang in Italy, and goes on to uncover the secrets about a mystery painting she finds inside.

Acting alongside Lee Young-ae is Korean heartthrob Song Seung-heon (East of Eden, Autumn in My Heart). After a break of three years, he returns to the screen in his first period drama as Lee Gyeom, Shin Saimdang’s love interest. In Saimdang, viewers can expect to see a different side to the actor.

An intertwined journey of Jiyun (Starring Lee Young-ae), a university lecturer of Korean art in the present, and Shin Saimdang herself in the past comes alive in this brand new series. After Jiyun stumbles upon the diary of historical figure Shin Saimdang, she becomes intrigued by a mysterious portrait that she finds inside of it. Looking to discover the history behind the picture, she takes it upon herself to locate the real portrait and through this, Saimdang’s love and life story awakens.

Lee Young-ae (Plays seo Jiyun and Shin Saimdang)


Lee Young-ae is a well-known actress in the Korean entertainment scene. She began her career through a role in an advertisement in 1991, with Andy Lau. In 1995, she went back to school to pursue her favourite subject – acting.

After 10 years, since her appearance in the hit drama Jewel in the Palace, Lee Young-ae is finally returning to the screens.

Through her highly praised acting skills in Jewel in the Palace, she created a global craze for Korean dramas. In 2007, she received the Medal of Culture Merit from the South Korean government for her contribution to the Korean wave.

In Saimdang, Lee Young-ae takes on a double role in the series. She plays Seo Jiyun, the mother of a precocious eight-year-old son and a Korean art history lecturer at a university. When she comes across an old book in Italy suspected of being Saimdang’s memoirs, she gets swept up in the whirlwind of destiny.

She also plays Shin Saimdang, the woman who writes “the Sujinbang Diary” that Seo Jiyun discovered. She is an artist with an extraordinary sense of colour.

Song Seung-heon (Plays Lee Gyeom)


Song Seung Heon is an instantly recognisable South Korean actor. Wooed by many for his chiselled good looks, Song Seung Heon began his career as a model for the jeans brand STORM.

He broke into acting with the 1996 television sitcom Three Guys, Three Girls, and a very successful acting career followed.

His popularity increased tremendously with the 2000 drama Autumn in My Heart which made him one of the most recognised Hallyu stars and much sought-after actor.

Song Seung Heon has since starred in many popular films and dramas, including East of Eden (2008), My Princess (2011), Dr. Jin (2012), When a Man Loves (2013).


In Saimdang, he takes on the role as Lee Gyeom, a free-spirited boy who was locked in a prison disguised as a home. He was a man who never stopped loving Saimdang and stayed devoted to her all his life. He was the Joseon version of a chivalrous man who treasured even the shadow of the woman he loved.

Korean heartthrob Park Bo Gum is set to make his debut appearance in Malaysia! 2016-2017 PARK BOGUM ASIA TOUR IN KUALA LUMPUR, the first stop of the tour, will be taking place on 10 December, 7:30p.m. at KLCC Plenary Hall.

Korea's Hottest New Drama GOBLIN Enthrals with Fairy-tale Love Story


Korean drama fever is set to hit a new high when the widely anticipated new series, Goblin premieres on Saturday, December 3 at 7pm. Available within 24-hours of Korean telecast on Oh!K (Astro Channel 394), the show boasts a star-studded cast including Gong-Yoo (Train To Busan), Lee Dong Wook (Hotel King), Yoo In Na and Kim Go Eun, who recently won Best New TV Actress at the Paeksang Arts Awards.

Written by Kim Eun Sook and directed by Lee Eung Bok, the masterminds behind the highly acclaimed Descendants of the Sun, Goblin promises K-drama fans a thrilling romantic drama that is set in a fantasy world of today’s time.

The storyline follows the Goblin (Gong Yoo), a handsome centenarian who is tired of his immortality. The only way to end his life is to find a ‘goblin bride’, thus bringing his search to Euntak (Kim Go Eun) whom he falls passionately in love with. Their love story, like any great one, is woeful when it is revealed that Euntak is actually on the run from the Angel of Death, the Reaper (Lee Dong Wook). The latter, tasked with killing Euntak, later meets Sunny (Yoo In Na) a beautiful woman and develops feelings for her. The plot thickens when viewers find that Goblin and Reaper are actually roommates, plunging them into a complicated pit as they wrestle with their emotions and duties.

Oh!K will also launch a dedicated microsite (www.ohk-tv.com/Goblin) on December 1, where fans can participate in an interactive personality quiz to find out if they are a Goblin or a Reaper, create their own photo-frame featuring both male leads and join in on a hashtag voting system where they can root for their favourite hero – #TeamGongYoo or #TeamLeeDongWook!

On the channel itself, Oh!K will also host a watch and win campaign. Those who tune in each week to the latest episodes and capture the unique on-air codes stand a chance to win limited-edition life-sized pillows of Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook. Japanese famous anime vocaloid Pile 2017 Live In Kuala Lumpur


Pile is a singer, actress and voice actress from Tokyo. She is known for her role as Maki Nishikino in the Love Live! multimedia franchise. Her first roles were minor parts in TV series and films during 2006. She debuted as a singer after she was selected in a 2006 Japan-wide audition, and she made her voice acting debut in Love Live! in 2010.
In 2006, Hori was chosen from a total of 700 applicants in the Japan-wide Asian Dolls Audition. She later wrote that she wanted to be seen as "warm and enveloping, an artist who can be loved by everyone", so she chose her stage name Pile.

Following several Love Live! releases reaching the top of the Oricon charts, Pile and her co-stars have had more success with their own music releases. Pile's second solo character album, Love Live! Solo Live! from μ's Scarlet Princess, reached #31 on the Oricon Albums Chart.) She and Love Live! co-star Aina Kusuda formed a duo, Please&Secret, in 2013. They have released two singles and an album, as well as a photo book entitled Girl Meets Girl and it’s get the huge impact from Animation field.

In 2016 Pile concentrate on her singing career, she’s having his 1st Love Live!!μ's Fan Meeting in Shanghai ~Talk&Live ~ and it’s attract thousands of China fans joining and hype up this Fan Meeting.
