tvN Asia Confirms Latest 24-hr Express Drama

tvN Asia’s latest 24-hour express drama – Familiar Wife (认识的妻子) – starring the stellar cast Ji Sung and Han Ji-min, will premiere exclusively on tvN in Asia from 2 August (Every Thursday and Friday) at 21:45 (GMT+8) in Singapore and Malaysia, and at 20:45 (GMT+7) in Indonesia. This fantasy romantic comedy is written by Yang Hee-seung (Oh My Ghost) and directed by Lee Sang-yeob (Shopping King Louis). Following What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, tvN continues to impress audience with drama that is relatable to its audience.
Familiar Wife follows the story of a couple struggling with their five years of marriage. Cha Joo-hyuk (Ji Sung池晟) is an ordinary employee at a bank who has to suppress himself in front of his boss and wife; his wife Seo Woo-jin (Han Ji-min韩志旼) is a “working mum” who tries hard to juggle between her job and family. The cruelty of life has swept their good old days and drowned this ever-sweet couple in tediousness. At this critical moment, an unexpected incident gives Joo-hyuk the ability to move back and forth from his past. Familiar Wife draws keen attention to how this ability ultimately impacts his life as the story unfolds.

People has high expectation on the drama regarding the combination of both the production crew and the cast. Writer Yang Hee-seung, who is famous for her previous works such as Oh My Ghost and Weightlifting Fairy, Kim Bok-joo, is good at telling romantic comedies with relatable real lives elements. She reveals that “People are used to taking what they have for granted but feeling nostalgic over the past. Everyone must have once dreamt about undoing one decision and living a completely different life. This drama gives a new definition on the theme ‘what if…’, which can strike a chord with audience.”

The chemistry between the main cast also caught audience’s attention. Ji-sung is well-known for his down-to-earth and versatile acting; while Han Ji-min has been focusing on theater performances in the past three years, her return with this drama is surely long-awaited.

This is the first time for the two professional actors to portray a couple. Director Lee Sang-yeob commented, “The perfect on-screen chemistry between Ji Sung and Han Ji Min is beyond expectations. It makes the characters even more convincing. Thanks to their detailed and empathetic acting.” Audience can anticipate a perfect romance chemistry between Ji Sung and Han Ji-min in Familiar Wife! 

Familiar Wife will broadcast on tvN in Asia from 2 Aug (Every Thursday and Friday) at 21:45 (GMT+8) in Singapore and Malaysia, and at 20:45 (GMT+7) in Indonesia. The drama is paired with English, Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia subtitles.

Wanna One World Tour in Kuala Lumpur

 Wannables went frenzy even before the concert starts. Wanna One start the concert with one of the latest hits "Burn it Up", followed by never, energetic, solo dance, Lean on Me and  Bomerang. 

They take a break after 3 songs to introduce themself.  They were asked the most memorable things about Malaysia since they had fan meets early this year.

Their answers were nasi lemak, KLCC and except for Seung Woo he said Sabah as he is one of the cast for the Law of Jungle in Sabah which shoot here last month.

After that they continued their performance with their hits such as Beautiful, day by day and more. They took another break by saying they prepared gift for the fans. Which is actually each of them have to pronounce in Malay for fighting. They sentence is "Awak boleh Bertahan fighting". Their pronunciation quite funny especially by Kang Daniel. 

After that there were duet performance by Seung Woo and Dae Hwi song titled the heal and more performance by group with hits from their debut til today.

The end their concert by saying they want to come again soon. Each of them said "Aku cinta pada mu banyak-banyak".The concert took more than 2 hours.

Brother Of The Year Malaysia Star Tour

What's Wrong With Secretary Kim Off To A Good Start

tvN’s latest 24-hour express drama – What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim (金秘书为何那样?) has captured audience’s attention with its star-studded cast led by Park Seo-joon (朴叙俊) and Park Min-young (朴敏英). The webtoon-turn-drama series illustrates a comical office romance between the narcissistic boss Lee Young-joon (Park Seo-joon) and his secretary of 9 years Kim Mi-so (Park Min-young).

The first episode of What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim recorded an average viewership of 5.4% and a peak of 6.5%; ranked no. 1 among all pay TV and IPTV in Korea during the same timeslot. In Singapore and Malaysia, audience can enjoy What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim through tvN within 24-hour of Korea’s broadcast.
