K-pop star Kim Hyun-joong and Ailee will participate in 2K13 Feel Korea, an event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Korean immigration to Brazil at the Club Esperia in San Paulo on Feb. 24.
Organized by the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange (KOFICE) and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Tourism Organization, the Consulate General of Korea in San Paulo and the Korea Brazil Society, the festival will run Feb. 23 to 25.
Kim, R&B singer Ailee and hip-hop duo Bae Chi Gi will perform on the second day. Comedy group Ongals who were given five stars by British online and paper-based theater review “Fringe Review” with their performance in 2011 and 2012 at the Edinburgh Fringe will also perform.
On Feb. 23, KOFICE will hold a “make-up school” to teach make-up techniques and a “dance school” to teach Psy’s horse riding dance at the San Paulo Cultural Center. On Feb. 25, they will visit a child welfare facility to carry out volunteer activities.
