tvN to air PRODUCE X 101 Subtitled Version within 18 hours of Korea’s Broadcast

In response to audience’s pressing demands, tvN announces its very first 18-hour express variety show PRODUCE X 101, with its subtitled version premieres on tvN in Asia from 4 May (Every Saturday) at 17:00 (GMT+8).
The global idol survival audition programme, PRODUCE series catches the world by storm with its upcoming season 4. This year, one of the most discussed topics was the selection of Lee Dong-wook as the show’s MC, representing all the "national producers". This is the first time in PRODUCE series to select an MC of the same sex with the contestants. Lee remarked, "I totally feel for all the contestants, for I understand how to work hard and fight for your dreams. I would like to cheer for them through this show!"

The strong trainer line-up of PRODUCE X 101 also caught much attention from its global fan base. Veteran trainers from previous seasons, namely singers Lee Suk-hoon and Shin Yoo-mi, dancers Bae Yoon-jeong, Kwon Jae-seung and Choi Young-jun and rapper Cheetah reunite at the show, sharing their invaluable experience with all contestants. They have customised an intensive training programme in order to get the boys ready in the shortest period of time, to display their charisma and ability during the weekly stage performance evaluation, and hence lead to a worldwide debut.

As audience are getting more and more curious about the contestants, it was announced that only the top 10 will be selected to debut at the end of PRODUCE X 101, which will be less than previous seasons. With the fierce competition, the boys would have to show their best all the time. In PRODUCE X 101: The Beginning released earlier, all 101 contestants have showcased their strengths through singing performance and solid dance moves. Stay tuned to witness their transformation throughout PRODUCE X 101 on tvN!

tvN’s latest 18-hour Express variety show PRODUCE X 101 subtitled version will be broadcasted on tvN in Asia from 4 May (Every Saturday) at 17:00 (GMT+8). tvN is available in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar and Sri Lanka, the show is paired with English, Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia subtitles.
