Vanguard & Jiang Ziya: Legend of Deification
MUCH-AWAITED BLOCKBUSTERS “VANGUARD” & “JIANG ZIYA: LEGEND OF DEIFICATION” FINALLY BACK TO THE BIG SCREENS
Two of the much-awaited blockbusters, Jackie Chan’s VANGUARD and
animation JIANG JIYA: LEGEND OF DEIFICATION, originally scheduled for this year’s Chinese
New Year, are finally back to the big screens, this coming 30 September and 8 October
respectively.
Both of these films had to be postponed earlier this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic which
peaked in China right before Chinese New Year. Directed by Stanley Tong (Kung Fu Yoga,
Rumble In The Bronx), VANGUARD showcases Jackie Chan’s signature high-impact action with
a parade of luxurious cars, and is set against wondrous landmarks around the world. Meanwhile,
from the makers of last year’s hit animation Nezha, JIANG JIYA: LEGEND OF DEIFICATION took
4 years in the making and promises to be another feast for the eyes.
Cinemas nationwide in Malaysia are well anticipating the return of these two movies under the
current Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO). They are expected to boost the cinema
industry and let audiences enjoy the best cinematic experience with the entire family once
again. Audiences are urge to follow the new SOP, wearing face mask and maintain social
distance while visiting the cinemas.
